[Tourism Scene]

Shaoguan is a big tourist city in Guangdong, rich in tourism resources, reasonable in structure and high in cultural taste, and is one of “China Tourism Competitive Top 100 Cities”. There are 17 world class and state-level scenic spots and over 100 provincial-level or below scenic spots including famous mountains, Buddhist temples, caves, rip current, hot spring, virgin forest, historic relics, cliff and stone inscription, rare cultural relic and folkway, forming the tourism characteristics of “famous mountains, hot spring, local scenes and Buddhist charm”. The main scenic spots include: the Danxia Mountains which are the world geological park, the state 4A Class key scenic spot and China topographical natural reservation zone; Nanhua Buddhist Temple which is the national key temple and the “South Clan Ancestral Court”; Shizi Rock of “Maba People”, Zhuji Old Alley for natives of the residents in the Pearl River Delta and millions upon millions of overseas compatriots; Ruyuan Grand Canyon with the name of “Guangdong First Canyon”; Nanling National Forest Park in the Shikeng Ravine of “Guangdong First Peak”, etc.
